Air Fried Biscuits-KFC Copycat Recipe

These easy homemade Air Fried Biscuits are a KFC copycat recipe that are amazingly simple to make and so much easier than the canned variety (and just forget the bisquick). They are a special treat, especially when warm straight out of the air fryer. These biscuits cook up fast and are an amazing side for breakfast, brunch or even dinner-hello stew!

Ingredients in Air Fried Biscuits

FLOUR-regular, all-purpose flour is all you need for these easy air fried biscuits

SALT-kosher or sea salt with both work perfectly well for this recipe

SUGAR– regular, granulated sugar is what you will need.

BAKING POWDER

BUTTER– I used olive oil stick butter, cut into cubes. If you prefer to use a tub-style olive-oil butter, you can easily use the same amounts in small little scoops instead of slices. If you would prefer to use standard butter, that will work perfectly fine, just substitute the same amount in the same manner.

MILK– I used almond milk as that is my family’s current favorite, however, regular milk (of your favored percentage) would be a perfectly fine substitute.

How to make Air Fried Biscuits

  • Pre-heat the air fryer to 400 degrees.
  • Stir together the flour, salt, sugar and baking powder.
  • Add the butter and mix in with your hands, crumbling to combine.
  • Add the milk and stir to combine. Knead 6-8 times. Roll out on a floured surface to about ½-1” thick. Cut out into rounds.
