- Heat 1 teaspoon of the oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the broccoli and artichoke hearts and continue to cook, stirring until bright green and beginning to soften. Remove from heat and combine with the pasta.
- Heat the remaining teaspoon of oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the flour and stir to combine. Add the milk and bring to a simmer.
- Add two cups of the cheddar cheese, the feta, the Dijon, the salt, pepper, cayenne and hot sauce. Continue to stir until the cheese is melted. Stir the sauce through the pasta and broccoli mixture.
- Spray a casserole dish with cooking spray. Add the pasta mixture. Add the remaining cup of shredded cheddar cheese to the top of the pasta.
- Pre-heat the air fryer to 350. Cook for 10-12 minutes until the cheese on top is melted and the pasta is warmed through, serve immediately.
How To Store Leftover Baked Pasta
- Let the baked pasta cool down: Allow the baked pasta to cool down to room temperature before storing it. This will prevent condensation from forming in the container and potentially causing the pasta to become soggy.
- Transfer to an airtight container: Once the baked pasta has cooled, transfer it to an airtight container. Use a container that is appropriate for the amount of pasta you have leftover, as you don’t want the pasta to be too crowded.
- Refrigerate or freeze: Depending on when you plan to eat the leftovers, you can store the container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days or in the freezer for up to 2-3 months. If freezing, ensure the container is labeled with the date and contents.
- Reheat before serving: To reheat the baked pasta, preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Cover the container with foil to prevent the pasta from drying out and bake for 20-25 minutes or until heated through. Alternatively, you can reheat individual portions in the microwave, stirring occasionally to ensure even heating.
